This is a cute, informative book for parents and caregivers to read with their children. I could see it really helping prepare kids to identify what they see, learn terms, let to predict and prepare for what is coming, and be safe!
This book is developmentally appropriate for children and doesn’t go into the more
adult aspects of hunting (guns, killing, etc) but it does introduce critical terms matched with pictures that would be beneficial to any family wanting to warm their child up to the idea of hunting, or prepare before they are old enough to go.
It covers things like: large game, small game, seasons, safety, equipment, and more. This could be a really helpful tool for families trying to introduce more vocabulary into their little one’s lives. The pictures are all very fitting, pleasant, and easy to see. The illustrations are adorable!
I would definitely recommend this book for families that hunt! Thank you so much to the authors for the copy!
