Andrew McMurdie grew up in a hunting family in Wisconsin, and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his dad and brothers. He is the author of several books for children, including the bestselling My First Book of Hunting ABC.

He now lives in North Carolina where he enjoys writing, hunting, and spending time outdoors with his wife and three daughters.
