We are a family run children's book publishing company operating out of North Carolina. Our books celebrate small towns, rural life, nature, education, and the outdoors.

First and foremost, we aim to create books that kids love. That's why you'll find our books filled with humor, interesting facts, and engaging content. Reading should be fun, and our creators work hard to make books that feed the interests of young readers.

How We Got Started

Dena McMurdie had the idea to create a book of story starters for kids. Six months later, she published her first book.

One book soon became a series, and she created Red Wolf Press. From there, it has grown to include many more titles. Now, Red Wolf Press publishes two to three books for children and teens each year.

Meet The Founder!

Dena McMurdie is a writer, artist, and mom with an insane love of children's books. Originally from a rural community in Alberta, Canada, she now lives in North Carolina with her family.

Dena started Red Wolf Press in 2022 to publish her children's activity books, and soon expanded to include a variety of genres.
