First and foremost, we aim to create books that kids love. That's why you'll find our books filled with humor, interesting facts, and engaging content. Reading should be fun, and our creators work hard to make books that feed the interests of young readers.

How We Got Started

Dena McMurdie noticed a need for more books that celebrated rural areas and the people who live there.

She started Red Wolf Press and began publishing books for children about nature, hunting, education, and humor. Now, Red Wolf Press publishes two to three books for children and teens each year.

Meet The Founder!

Dena McMurdie is a writer, artist, and mom with an insane love of children's books. Originally from a rural community in Alberta, Canada, she now lives in North Carolina with her family.

Dena started Red Wolf Press in 2022 to publish her children's activity books, and soon expanded to include a variety of genres.
