About Red Wolf Press:
Red Wolf Press is a small publishing company specializing in children’s and young adult books. We publish both fiction and nonfiction, and most of our titles are educational in some way. Our favorite books to publish are activity books and books about nature and animals, and we publish between 2-5 titles per year.

How it Started:
Red Wolf Press started as a children’s book review blog called “Books for Kids” in 2012, renamed “Batch of Books” in 2014. We started our publishing journey with low-content books like planners and journals before shifting to activity books, picture books, short stories, and novels. In 2023, we rebranded once again and became Red Wolf Press.
As the quantity of books we publish has increased, so has our team. We work with several freelancers to create beautiful books on topics that children, parents, and teachers can all enjoy.
Why the Red Wolf?

We’re glad you asked! Red wolves are the most endangered wolf species in the world, and the only wild pack lives in North Carolina, where our company is located. These unique wolves have had a difficult time keeping their population up despite the ongoing efforts of conservation groups.
Recently, new legislation has passed that we hope will help this critically endangered animal regain its footing. To learn more about red wolves and what people are doing to help, visit The National Wildlife Federation page.
