Kerstein is all about a boy named Charlie and his pet dragon Rosie spending a playful and mischief-filled day at the pool. Charlie helps Rosie practice blowing bubbles and doing her flutter kicks while trying to keep her away from the gummy skunks he packed as a snack. He knows that dragon breath + gummy skunks = disaster!

This is a super cute book! Not only is Charlie a great pet owner, but he’s also a great friend. He does his best to care for his dragon and have fun at the same time. But it’s not easy keeping a dragon on a short leash. My kids and I loved reading about Charlie and Rosie’s misadventures at the pool.
