Anytime is a good time to curl up with a couple of YA romance books. There are very few things that can make you feel as pleasantly warm and happy as reading a good teenage romance novel. Kittens and chocolate may come close, but in the end, YA rom-coms win out every time.
One of the most frequent requests I get is for clean YA romance books. They’re not that easy to find, but I’ve included quite a few on this list.
You’ll notice that most of the books have a “content advisory” where I’ve listed anything that you might want to be aware of, like cursing, teen drinking, and so on. If there’s no content section, that means I haven’t read the book yet, but it’s on my “to-read” list.
One big disclaimer here: I didn’t list kissing because these are teenage romance novels we’re talking about. Kissing just comes with the territory.
If you’re ready to snuggle up with a cozy blanket and a stack of YA romance books, then keep scrolling. You’ll find awkward rom-coms, sweet love stories, and feel-good romances for teen readers and YA addicts of all ages.

Prince in Disguise by Stephanie Kate Strohm
I loved this book! My teenage daughters both read it and loved it, too. Grab a front-row seat for this reality show-inspired rom-com! Dylan is whisked off to Scottland to be her older sister’s maid of honor as she prepares for her marriage to a laird-to-be. The catch? It’s all part of a reality show and camera-shy Dylan is front and center. This is the cutest YA romance ever!

Sparks fly as these two American teen chefs fall in love with food, France, and eventually each other.
