An unexpected perk of following authors is getting their funny tweets in your feed. Often, I find myself laughing clever, humorous, or downright hilarious tweets from authors on Twitter.

I love following authors on social media. They usually give their followers little peeks into what their lives are like, what they’re working on, and the ups and downs of being an author. Plus, their social media feeds can be fantastic sources of a much-needed chuckle.
